Building With Integrity, Backed by 60 Years of Experience
McGlynn Scott Building Contractors is a partnership between Damien McGlynn and Peter Scott – two highly respected builders with over 60 years of combined experience across South West Victoria.
Born and raised in the region, Damien and Peter have worked on homes from Colac to Apollo Bay, with a commitment to quality that’s deeply personal. They approach every build as if it were their own – applying attention to detail, honest communication, and practical know-how to deliver beautiful, functional homes that stand the test of time.
Whether it’s a modern family build, a stylish coastal retreat, or a thoughtful renovation, McGlynn Scott Building Contractors is proud to offer high-quality craftsmanship rooted in local knowledge and community values.
Homes That Reflect Us.
We don’t believe in sales pitches. What you see is what you get: experienced builders who care about getting it right. From new builds to renovations, we bring hands-on care and old-school pride to every job.
You won’t find headshots here. You’ll find real homes, real people, and work that speaks for itself.
“We build every home like we’re handing it over to family.”
– Peter Scott, Director
A STANDARD THAT YOU CAN TRUST.
Because to us, building isn’t just about bricks and frames — it’s about trust. It’s about knowing that the space we create will hold someone’s memories, milestones, and moments that matter. That’s why we hold ourselves to a standard that goes beyond industry — one that feels personal. Because every home deserves that level of care.
Real Work. Real Locals.
Peter and Damien aren’t just builders — they’re part of the fabric of the community. They proudly employ people from Colac and the surrounding region, and work alongside trusted local trades and suppliers across the Colac-Otway and Surf Coast Shires. It’s about keeping work local, supporting families, and building with pride for the places they call home.
